Romantic comedy "Beloved" is the last part of the trilogy "Family Garden", which takes place at the end of the 1950s.

Czechoslovakia is ruled by communists, and the gap between the pre-war and post-war generations is overwhelming. Dana, a teenage daughter of Vilma and Jindřich, meets Mirek during the holidays spent at the village uncle's aunt. When the school year begins, Dana returns to the city. Holiday love lasts despite the distance and passage of time. Lovers meet on weekends. Dany's relationship is unacceptable to Jindřich, who intends to provide his daughter with an ideal future.
