Simon - freshly baked divorcee spends most of his time getting drunk at a local strip club, while Andreas leads orderly life with a beautiful wife and son. One day, the police are called to intervene to dysfunctional family. Andreas and Simon witness the shocking example of neglect, when in a closet are crying child. Soon the action to take in desperation turn out to be the main character of the result of a desperate situation, in what will be his family.
A second chance is very moving and nuanced portrait visually the people who have to deal with a tragedy. It's about those who thought that without batting an eye they are able to tell the difference between what is good and what is bad. It is also a picture taking much more than morally difficult questions about insurmountable barriers. It allows you to redefine and rediscover the meaning of humanity in a very quiet and subdued manner. The director has created a very poignant image which shows you how to quickly reject the accepted values that we know when life is suddenly turned upside down.
