Somewhere in the delta of the dry, African river Okavongo the animals are waiting for water. Billy - clever meerkat and Socrates - friendly lion, and Billy's best friend, tired of waiting, goes off into the water to search for water. In full of dangerous adventures, wild Africa, Billy and Socrates travel to meet animals from all over the world. Expelled from their homeland by destructive human action, they arrived at Black Land in search of a new home. Together they are on the road to make a dramatic discovery: on the Okavongo River, people have built a great dam. Billy, Socrates and their new friends decide to thwart people's plans and restore the water to the river.
