South of Spain, 1980. Two detectives from Madrid join forces to investigate the brutal murders of young girls. Juan Pedro ideologically differ radically, but they must put aside any animosity and what divides them. Before them the task of capturing the absolute killer for years terrorizing the town community, over which looms the shadow of a complete disregard for women, resulting from the misogynist tradition.

The film dominated the awards this year's Spanish Goya film industry earning 10 statuettes, including for best film, director, actor for writing and photos, and also won the Jury Prize and the Silver Shell for Best Actor at the International Film Festival in San Sebastian.
