Based on the classic novel by Jack London, "The Call of the Blood," tells the captivating story of Buck, a dog with a big heart, whose world stands on its head when, straight from an idyllic home in California, it reaches the exotic Alaskan snow deserts during the gold fever of the 1890s.

As a newcomer to the dog sled team - and later its leader - Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, and eventually finds his true place in the world and becomes master of his fate.

The film was directed by Chris Sanders ("How to Train Your Dragon"), based on the script by Michael Green ("Murder in the Orient Express"). "The Call of the Blood" combines pictures with the participation of actors and animations, using the latest achievements of special effects techniques, thanks to which computer-generated animals look alive and express complex emotional states, in no way inferior to human figures.
