The screenwriter and director Greta Gerwig ("Lady Bird") approached the subject of the cult novel "Little Women", based on the book and drawings of Louisa May Alcott; looks at the alter ego of the author - Jo March, reaching for the fictitious life that she leads in her imagination.

Gerwig's look at the audience's beloved story of the four March sisters, determined to live their own way, is both timeless and deeply rooted in reality. In the roles of Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth we will see Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen. The film also starred: Timothee Chalamet as the neighbor of March sisters - Lauri and Laura Dern as Marmee and Meryl Streep as aunt March.
